Video of 21 Orchard Park Drive | Reading, Massachusetts real estate & homes

http://www.BethStakem.com - Reading, Massachusetts,  located just 12 miles North of Boston is a very desirable location with easy access to highways 93 and 128 plus a 25 minute commute by train to North Station. Reading is also known for its award winning schools and outstanding town services. With it's welcoming neighborhoods it is a town where people care for each other. This street is no exception and is just a short walk to schools, town and train but tucked away on a private dead end street. This is what attracted these present home owners to this house and location 26 years ago. Their three children grew up in this house and enjoyed all that Reading offers. Welcome to 21 Orchard Park Drive in the heart of the West side. This Royal Barry Wills custom Cape was built in the 1950's. The first floor features spacious fire place living room , sunny dining room with two built in corner china cabinets, updated kitchen with granite counter tops and separate eating area, family room, full bath and master bed room all with hardwood floors. The front staircase brings you to the second floor with a cozy landing , two extra large bed rooms with double closets and a full bath. Lower level is unfinished but used for an extra tv room, or a great place to have a pick up hockey game. Many fun games were played in the spacious basement. The front yard was professionally landscaped with a new perennial garden, shrubs and trees. In the fenced-in back yard there is a patio and above ground pool for Summer enjoyment. If this was not already enough, there is an attached two car garage with direct access to the house.

Milton, Massachusetts Public Library Tour

http://www.MiltonLibrary.org - In 1870, Milton voted to form a public library with public funds matched by private moneys. Various “Reading” rooms were rented until the Central building was opened in 1904 on land bought by 26 citizens and donated to the town. In 1958, a two-story addition was added to house Children and Young Adult collections. And today you will see a reconstruction project that cost over $13 Million dollars.

With the help of Library Director, Phil McNulty the library qualified for a state grant to help pay for the renovations along with donations made to the Milton Library Foundation and the rest was paid for by the Milton tax payers who voted 3 to 1 back in 2005 to see the renovation happen. The “new” library is roughly 50,000 square feet with 32 computers, a children’s and young adult section, and two renovated reading rooms with gas fireplaces.
The Milton Public Library goal is to promote the love of reading, to make accessible the diversity of human culture and learning, to be a resource for the community's research and information needs and to do all of this in a way that returns value for the community's investment. Milton residents may obtain a free library card good at all public libraries in the Old Colony Library Network by showing identification with a full name and current address.

There are two rooms available to book:

Conference Room: This room holds up to 16 people at tables set up in an open square.
Keyes Community Room : This room holds up to 100 with auditorium style seating, fewer when tables are used.

This video was donated to the Milton Public Library by Laura Cahill of RE/MAX Cahill Properties
