Video of 225 Bigelow Rd | Vineyard Haven, Massachusetts (Martha's Vineyard)

http://www.SandpiperRealty.com -  Welcome home to this completely renovated residence in the Mink Meadows Golf Course community.
The basic quality of design, space, location and parcel of land were all in place, however it took the vision and creativity of the current owners to transform this property to the "Best of the Best".
Everything has been completely redone, replaced, remodeled, polished and enhanced.
This open spacious home with many, many windows and sliders becomes part of the natural canvas of the surrounding yard which provides total privacy...the gleaming cherry floors are an anchor for the grand architecture and the wonderful flow of the home...what was once a large wooded area is now a mini park with walkways and decks on different levels and a large open back yard with specimen plantings. This is Feng shui at its best.
As a resident of the Mink Meadows Golf Course community, you have a priority spot on the Club membership list…and the community beach is one of the finest on the Island.

Video of 24 Crocker Ave | Vineyard Haven (Martha's Vineyard), Massachusetts real estate & homes

http://www.SandpiperRealty.com - Welcome to Millbank, located on Crocker Avenue overlooking Vineyard Haven Harbor.

As a child in the early 1900’s, Mary Carter Stewart had spent many months on Martha’s Vineyard.  Her father was a doctor stationed at the naval facility on the Island.  Originally from Virginia, Mary Stewart Pogue and her first husband purchased a plot of land with a modest house in Vineyard Haven in 1929. “Why would you want to buy that old house?” a friend asked. “I’m not buying it for the house, I’m buying it for the land,” Mrs. Pogue is reported to have said.  Always forward thinking, she proceeded to rebuild and expand the original house, transforming it into the gracious home that you see today. The generous size of the rooms, the corner cupboards built in the dining room and the elegant flow of space resonate with her childhood home.

The name “Millbank” came from its neighbor, the old mill to the north. Converted from a working mill, The Mill House was owned for many years by Lillian Hellman and Dashiell Hammett. Mike Wallace also was a long time neighbor residing for many summers at “The Barn” below Millbank.

Now, sitting on the porch at Millbank on a summer night, one can hear the town band playing in Owen Park. The neighborhood has remained consistent: quiet and very convenient to town and a short walk to the ferry dock.  Since it was first built, Millbank has been owned by several generations of only one family. The home has always been a welcoming place, the site of many visits, parties, cookouts, guests and wedding celebrations.  Millbank’s constant companion is the array of boats sailing in and out of the harbor and the steady passing of the ferries.

Video of 239 East Chop Dr | Oak Bluffs, Massachusetts real estate & homes

http://www.SandpiperRealty.com - This house was built during the height of the original development of East Chop (originally a barren expanse of land called the Vineyard Highlands). Period photographs show that it
was one of the grandest on the bluff with all the architectural details that capture the elegance and charm of by-gone years. The property is currently held by the third generation of the same family that has held continuous ownership since the late 1930’s when it was
purchased from the original owner.

This classic 1800's shingle style offers quite incredible, postcard, panoramic views over Nantucket Sound to Cape Cod.  It is located on a high point of East Chop, near the Lighthouse and offers over 175' of waterfront.

Talke a walk down the stone steps down the bluff to the water with a potential for future swimming dock.

There has been no corruption of the authentic interior detail including original oak paneling, staircases, fireplaces.....nearly 4,000sf on 3 full levels with multiple living spaces, high ceilings, and large windows to the views.

This is an historic masterpiece. This enduring summer community, first settled in the 1860’s and fully
flourishing in the early 1900’s including a private beach club, tennis club and even a golf
course. The golf course gave way to housing in the 1920’s but the other two facilities survive and thrive to present day.

Come live the good life on Martha's Vineyard - they way summers SHOULD be.
