Video of the Cooke Estate | Cohasset, Massachusetts

http:/www.DeanAndHamilton.com - The Cooke Estate is a small enclave of 27 elegant single family dwellings with condominium ownership designed for ease and luxury.  Bordered by an ageless stone wall running the length of the property to the crest of Deer Hill, this beautiful and private 23 acre setting is located on the grounds of the original Bancroft estate - on Cohasset's highest point.  Some homes even have distance views of the Atlantic, while others border conservation land.

Currently, a dozen homes are completed or under construction, and we anticipate that the entire project will be completed in 2014.

Lots of options…. not one of the 12 units standing is exactly like another one.  There are two basic models - the Bancroft and the Lindsay.

Each home offers open style living spaces, easily lending itself to gracious entertaining or relaxing on weekends with friends and family.

In the kitchen, the base appliances include Wolfe, SubZero and Asko, are accented with beautiful granite countertops - and all are upgradeable.

The convenient first level master bedrooms suite features a spa-style bathroom with Kohler fixtures that afford privacy, luxury and convenience.   These homes are not what one would find in a typical "builder's package" of new construction.

Bancroft is two level living.  Main floor and upper floor, with an option of building out the lower level.  The Lindsay is single floor living, with an option to build out the lower level as well.

The standard Bancroft model is approximately 2200 square feet without the additional buildout.  A fully built out Bancroft can be as much as 4200 square feet.   The standard Lindsay model is 2400 square feet, and with a full buildout can be as much as 4800 square feet.

Of course, each individual unit can be personalized specifically for the buyer. Onsite people will work with you to make your unit exactly to your liking and specifications.

Cohasset, Massachusetts is a small coastal town, approximately 25 miles south of Boston on the Atlantic Ocean.  With a population of 7500 residents, Cohasset has a large coastline filled with 3 pristine town beaches.  In addition, Cohasset features a Yacht Club, a sailing club, a golf club, a community center, arts center, the renowned South Shore Music Circus for live summertime entertainment, drama club, discussion club and numerous recreational activities for residents.

Cohasset has a small, but mighty village, dotted with numerous shops, restaurants and boutiques, conspicuously void of chain stores.  The town common hosts a weekly farmer's market in the warmer months, a lively event with entertainment and pony rides for the kids, and a large art festival every June.  The highly ranked Cohasset public schools are just another feather in the cap for this small, seaside community.

Commuting to Boston is a breeze….  by car, commuter boat or commuter train.  25-60 minutes depending on the traffic conditions will put you in the heart of downtown Boston, with it's myriad of opportunities for work and play.
